Decision of Complaints Assessment Committee: Miao & Dai

We defended real estate agents against a complaint that they did not act in their client’s best interest and negotiate the best sale price.

The Complaints Assessment Committee (the Committee) accepted our submissions that the real estate agents recommended a full marketing campaign but this was not wanted by their client. They also found that they had not placed their client under undue pressure to accept the offer made to purchase his property.

Having held a hearing on the papers and considered all the information gathered during the inquiry the Committee decided to take no further action and the complaint against the real estate agents is at an end.
